As the year draws to a close, it’s time to look back on the past twelve months through the Thoroughly Good video archive.
2024 in just over three minutes: fun fairs, shorelines, family, and friends; a year of reflection, peppered with joy and challenge in equal measure.
An unprovoked attack on the Los Angeles Metro and witnessing partner Simon’s near-drowning on holiday was a timely reminder of the importance of gratitude. It’s amazing how much easier prioritisation becomes after such experiences.
Music offered solace and inspiration. From concerts in New York and LA to Aldeburgh, France, Italy, Oxford, Sheffield, and Belfast—each performance helped shape a unique soundtrack to the year. 2024’s conclusion underscored by the Prelude from Paul Reade’s Victorian Kitchen Garden Suite (played here by clarinettist Michael Collins) provided a reflective farewell, both to the year and to a parent who recently passed away.
To everyone who has supported Thoroughly Good—through invitations, sponsorships, advertising, professional opportunities, or moments of kindness during difficult times—thank you. Your support has helped a great deal.
Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it) and best wishes for a bright and peaceful New Year.
